Unraveling Adoption is an intentional space to delve into adoption’s complexities together. Podcast host Beth Syverson is an adoptive mom to a 19 year old son Joey and has been walking beside him as he struggles with his recovery. In this episode, I share about my experiences as a transracial adoptee and about the somatic movement healing work I do. We talk about the mind-body split in our culture, and we explore why somatic movement and creative arts can be so healing for adoption trauma.
